Website Services

Most of the work that Paintrock Consulting provides is for remote clients. But as a Wyoming-based business, offering website solutions provides a level of regional and local engagement, along with the opportunity to keep one foot firmly planted in the creative design side of things.  Website Design projects tend to be largely one-time development with maintenance training for you to continue the site, or site development with ongoing maintenance. Ultimately, it means that our engagement with you will be deep initially to gather your hopes and requirements before turning over a beautiful product to you.

Web Design Portfolio

Below is an alphabetical sampling of websites delivered for clients spanning professional and community services, e-commerce, non-profit, publishing, and travel services.  Each listing displays the company's desktop home page and mobile if they are also using responsive design, as well as a brief description of the project.  If your specific idea is not reflected here, don't hesitate to get in touch and we can brainstorm what you might be thinking.  Paintrock Consulting operates on the philosophy that your website is YOURS - that includes the domain name, hosting platform, and content. As such, developed sites are turned over to you after they are built and you can make adjustments on your own going forward, or contact us to make them for you.

We create solutions with your business and your website's ongoing sustainability in mind.

Bighorn Basin Outdoor Recreation Collaborative
This is an all-volunteer public/private partnership in the Bighorn Basin, so the challenge for a website was to provide something essentially free that informs members and the public. This is built on a free Google Site, but as such, does not offer robust design configurations that are responsive-focused for mobile display.

The Basin - Hyattville United Methodist Church needed a website for an organizational update, but later determined that the bulk of their engagement happened in Facebook, so they have let the website expire.  This was based on a web-only template (no responsive design for mobile display) to better target the audience of users.

This is an all-volunteer partnership with Medicine Lodge State Park in Hyattville. It enables the 501c3 a way to provide transparency, activities, and donation information in conjunction with their Facebook page. This project included graphic design, infographic and favicon development.

Hyattville Community Center, Hyattville, Wyoming
The Hyattville Community Center previously used a website stub provided by a now-defunct telecom company. As a 501c3 and all-volunteer organization, cost of migrating content to a new platform was paramount, so the contents were migrated to a custom developed Blogger site - a free resource.  Unfortunately the need for updates to the site on this platform were onerous, so the Board approved the expense to migrate and update the contents to a modern site with mobile responsive design.  The primary use is as an information source for the town. The greatest traffic is during the center's annual Fundraising activities and contests complimenting more regular use on Facebook. This project included graphic design, logo design, and integration elements.

Integration with online booking aggregator
Historic Hotel Greybull, Greybull, Wyoming
The Hotel's former website was based on legacy technology that was at the end of life.  They use a complex e-booking online reservation management system on the back end that allows cross-platform integration with the various hotel and accommodation aggregator websites, and wanted a solution that would provide a front-end updated look and feel, reflect each room individually, share more of the history, and include their restaurant menus. This project included photography services.

Hyattville Volunteer Fire Department

Wyoming Raw Milk, Hyattville, Wyoming
Wyoming Raw Milk from the Diamond S Ranch has recently undergone a complete re-tooling and update.  Originally the site was called Diamond S Retreat, because the ranch had a few cabins that were available for short-term visits and rentals.  Over time, plans have changed and the cabins are in use while the ranch has launched a popular artisanal microdairy that provides products throughout the Bighorn Basin.  The website revamp focused on a name and content update, new professional photography, and the addition of an online payment option with an eye toward future online ordering.
